A community Economy Act will:
-Provide taxpayer value, smaller government and help build stronger communities
-Require government to consider community economic model before permitting, investing or outsourcing to private enterprise.
-Provide strategic investments in Community Enterprise start-up.
-Enable access to affordable capital for Community Enterprises

Priority No. 1 - the environment

Protect our water & natural resources by advocating for policies and programs related to the collection of used tires, to the expansion of propane fueling & conversion of vehicles and to the eradication of invasive species.

PRIORITY NO. 2 - The economy

Bring forward a Community Economy Act,

PRIORITY NO. 3 - Communities

Introduce a motion to include Muskoka in the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund catchment area. Introduce an Intervenor Act.

Priority No. 4 - privatization and corporate welfare

Lead a conversation about the privatization of public assets/services and so-called corporate welfare.

PRIORITY NO. 5 - TWo Muskoka Hospitals and public consultation.

I will support keeping two acute care hospitals in Muskoka. There is a process being followed that must reach a recommendation before any political interference.

PRIORITY NO. 6 - Electricity Generation, bala falls and other Energy projects

Future electricity projects should be public, not for-profit or first nation owned.

Citizens must demand a statement from on this view to determining their overall will to protect the public interest.

Priority No. 7 - Infrastructure

Ontario is in the process of spending $130B to repair and replace aging infrastructure. We support further investment in roads, bridges and other infrastructure. We argue it is time for a conversation about how much taxpayer money is going towards private profit.

PRIORITY NO. 8 - Debt, Healthcare and Education

These three items account for the vast majority of tax dollars. We advocate for measures to save money by drastically reducing the amount of tax dollars that fund private delivery of public undertakings.

PRIORITY NO. 9 - Road Safety

We have a plan to better protect the traveling public by introducing a mobile "app" to help law enforcement do a better job of reducing the number of fatigued commercial vehicle operators on our roads and highways.

Priority No. 10 - jobs, Housing & Youth out-migration

Rural and northern Ontario faces a challenge attracting and retaining young people to live and work in the region. We have a plan to create jobs for youth and build vibrant communities.

PRIORITY NO. 11 - Affordable Transportation

Automated ride sharing can be an affordable transportation option. Driving a propane powered vehicle is cleaner and can cut personal, commercial and municipal fuel costs in half. Unfortunately, these options are only practical in big cities. We have a plan to start a pilot project to bring these options to Parry Sound and Muskoka.
